About the Learning + Emotions Check
What does the Learning + Emotions Check measure?
The check looks at four patterns that commonly sit behind school struggles: reading-related learning differences such as dyslexia, attention and executive functioning challenges associated with ADHD, school-related anxiety, and twice-exceptional (2e) profiles, where high ability and a learning challenge mask each other. Your answers show which patterns stand out most, so you know where to start reading and what to ask about.
Is this quiz a diagnosis?
No. The Learning + Emotions Check is an educational screening tool based on parent observations, not a clinical assessment. Only a qualified professional can diagnose a learning disability, ADHD or an anxiety disorder, usually through a comprehensive psychological or neuropsychological evaluation. Many children also show more than one pattern at once. Use your results to guide a conversation with your child’s school, pediatrician or our team during a free consultation.
What should I do after I see my results?
Read the page your results point to, then book a free consultation so we can talk through what you are seeing. If your child has already had testing, bring the report: we use evaluation findings to build a tutoring plan. If several patterns stood out, that is common, and therapeutic tutoring is designed to address academic skills and emotional barriers together. You can also review our fees and FAQs first.
